Israeli Society: A Look at Shocking Views
Many people have strong feelings about Israel. This post looks at some difficult truths about how some Israelis see the world. It comes from an American-Palestinian YouTuber named Hamzah Saadah, who talks to Israelis online. His videos show some shocking and hateful views.
Hatred and Indifference
Hamzah's videos show that some Israelis, even young people, have a lot of hate. They talk easily about violence and death. It's like they don't care about the suffering of others.
One video shows young girls saying they want all Palestinians to die. They don't seem to think twice about it. It's hard to believe that kids could think this way.
This hate is not a coincidence. It seems to be common in Israeli society.
What About Freedom?
Some people support Israel and say they want it to be free. But what does that mean?
Israel controls land that used to belong to Palestinians. They have taken land and built settlements. Palestinians are often not allowed to move freely.

Two Kinds of People
There are two kinds of people in the world: those who understand facts and those who refuse to. Some Israelis refuse to see the truth, even when it is right in front of them. They are so convinced they are right that they get angry when you try to show them facts.
It's sad that so many people don't want to know the truth about Israel.
Targeting Children
Some evidence suggests that Israeli soldiers have purposely targeted children. There are reports of soldiers shooting kids in the head. This is a terrible thing to do.
One organization, the Hind Rajab Foundation, is working to expose these crimes. They collect videos of Israeli soldiers bragging about what they have done. They use these videos to try to bring the soldiers to justice.
These soldiers are not heroes. They are criminals.
No Remorse
Some Israelis don't seem to feel bad about what they are doing. They are proud of it. They will say horrible things on camera without any shame.
It's hard to understand how people can be so cruel. It's even harder to believe that some people want to be like them.
We should not want to be like Israel. We should want to be a better country.
The October 7 Attacks
Some Israelis always bring up the October 7 attacks. They use it to justify their actions in Gaza.
But the conflict is more complex than that. Israel has been occupying Palestinian land for years. They have killed and displaced many people.
The October 7 attacks were terrible, but they are not the whole story.
A Simple Formula
There is a simple formula for understanding Israelis: Whatever they accuse others of doing, they are doing themselves.
They accuse others of killing babies, but they kill babies. They accuse others of rape, but they commit rape. They accuse others of using human shields, but they use human shields.
They are masters of hypocrisy.
"Human Shields"
The idea of "human shields" is important to understand. Israelis often accuse Palestinians of using human shields. However, Israelis themselves use human shields.
They put Palestinian civilians in danger to protect themselves. This is a war crime.
Stand Up
It is important to stand up for what is right. We need to expose the truth about what is happening in Israel.
