Israeli Raids on Palestinian Families New Face of Genocide

In the city of Nablus, Nidal and Khaled Amira were killed by Israeli occupation forces during a military raid.
Their brother, Sam, chose not to tell their elderly mother right away. He knew the news would devastate her. Sam said that the family's life has been turned upside down.
The Israeli gunfire shattered our family he explained. There is no safety. We say goodbye to our families, not knowing if we will return. Our dreams vanished.
Their mother had already suffered a stroke after another nephew was killed by Israeli occupation forces. Sam feared that losing two more sons would be too much for her to bear.

Escalating Violence

In July 2022, the Israeli Zionist  government made a decision. They allowed the occupation army and settlers to shoot Palestinians if they felt threatened.

In the first half of 2023, 149 Palestinians were killed. This is triple the number from the year the law was put in place.

The Israeli occupation army often shoots Palestinians with little suspicion. They don't investigate or seem to care about ethics. Any movement is seen as a threat.

The number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli army and settlers continues to rise. This adds to the suffering of Palestinians, who live in fear every day. They have no hope for peace or safety.

The situation in the occupied West Bank remains tense. Civilians are caught in the middle of ongoing genocide
