Is World War 3 Already Here?
Many people are asking if we are already in World War 3. Let's look at some things happening in the world to see if this is true.
Conflicts and Similar Tactics
Russia has been fighting against NATO for about three years. Now, some of the same Western powers have also attacked Iran. What's interesting is that the attacks on Russia and Iran have something in common.
Both attacks used similar tactics:
- Drones were smuggled into both countries.
- Attacks started from inside the countries.
These attacks caused confusion and were successful. Some people believe that British Intelligence (MI6) played a big role in these attacks.
Common Enemies and Potential Conflicts
Iran, Russia, and China see the United States and its allies as their common enemies. China thinks they might be next, with Taiwan being used to attack them. If this happens, many countries will be fighting each other.
Think about World War 1 and World War 2. Many countries were actively involved in those fights. If you count the countries we've already talked about, that's a lot of countries already.
Modern Warfare
Today's wars are different. You don't need as many soldiers. Instead, countries use:
- Fighter jets
- Drones
- Missiles
These weapons can cause a lot of damage quickly.
Impact of Modern Warfare
Modern warfare is more intense and destructive than past conflicts because technology allows for rapid and widespread damage with fewer personnel.
Shifts in Power
Wars often change who has the most power in the world.
- After World War 1, power shifted from the Ottoman Empire to the United Kingdom.
- After World War 2, power shifted from Britain to the United States.
If there is a World War 3, will the balance of power shift to China and Russia? This can only happen if the world survives.
Albert Einstein once said that he didn't know what weapons would be used in World War 3. But he did say that World War 4 would be fought with sticks and stones.
