People in Mexico City marched to show they support Palestinians in Gaza. They want the genocide to end. They also want Mexico to stop its good relationship with Israel.

Over the past few weeks, many marches have happened in Mexico City. These marches have gotten bigger. People are upset by the news and images from Gaza. They see that many women and children are starving.

One protester said that what is happening hurts all Mexicans. They worry about their own children. They think if people get used to this, they will lose their humanity.

Some people in Mexico believe their country should be a leader in Latin America. They think Mexico should speak up and say "stop the genocide."  

  Pro-Palestinian groups built a monument.

It calls for an end to genocide. The monument also shows pictures of Al Jazeera workers who have died recently.

The march went to the Mexican foreign ministry. Protesters want Mexico to cut off all ties with Israel. This includes both diplomatic and economic connections.

The Mexican president has talked about this issue. She said her government will not cut ties with Israel. Instead, she wants a ceasefire. She also supports a two-state solution. This means creating two separate countries, one for Israelis and one for Palestinians, as a way to end the genocide.

Many young people joined the march.

University groups, youth groups, and worker unions were all there. Families with small children also came to show their support.

The march was mostly peaceful. Police were present but did not need to get involved.

People in Mexico are showing their support for Palestinians. They want peace and justice. The marches in Mexico City show that many people care about what is happening in Gaza. They are asking their government to take action.
